Went to the “Transmission LA” show/exhibit/festival (whatever you want to call it) at the Geffen on Friday. Just in time too, because the it ended yesterday.
First thing I see when I get there. Giant Benzo necklace. This was the day that MCA passed away, so naturally, the DJ's were mixing up Beastie Boys every chance they got
Tried to get there a little early, before it got too packed.

This would've been way cooler if there were like 20 more of these things. No clue if the road cone is actually part of the instalation or not.
Roadtrip: Part 1. Kinda like being in Tron, or that tunnel at the beginning of Space Mountain.
Roadtrip: Part 2. This was the most disorienting installation because the entire room was made to look like you were speeding through the desert. This fool wouldn't get out of the way of my photo though.

This tragic video of Popeye by Takeshi Murata was one of the best things there.
